Getting around the city
Berlin has many attractions, many historical buildings and a very good public transport system, and offers numerous sightseeing possibilities. Please also take time to plan a visit to Potsdam, which is 30 minute ride by public transport. Public transport in Berlin is efficient, fast and cheap.

Travel within the EU is normally without restrictions. Participants form countries outside the EU and from overs may are asked to check with the German consulate and the ‘Auswärtige Amt’ for requirements to obtain a Visa or for restrictions.
Although we hope that the Corona situation is under control in Autumn 2021 please also check the development for Germany and Berlin.

Visa Invitation Letters
Official letters of invitation can be issued to help with the applicator of visa for participants from certain countries. Such invitation letter will be sent by e-mail by the Congress Secretariat. In this case please contact email@example.com with your passport information. It is understood that invitation letters for Visa are send without any commitment of the Local Organizing Committee, the ICS or the Meeting Organizer to provide financial support or assistance. Please note that the letter will only be sent by e-mail format. Invitation letters will only be issued for the fully pre-paid registrants.
